Habitual language: English. Whilst working as a solicitor I translated numerous legal documents and contracts. The practice dealt with many civil law matters where either the claimant or the defendant were Danish and although it was not in my job description I would always be asked to do the translations. I translated mainly for the company commercial and litigation department. I have since August 1994 translated documents for a Danish accountant. He purchases “off the shelf” companies for his Danish clients. These are documents such as minutes of meetings, accounts, memoranda and articles of association, forms and correspondence from Companies House, Accounts, and correspondence in general.
